Future Plans

Over the next couple of years, we intend to continue Shap Shaps rapid growth and extend our reach across South Africa. We intended to make our video tutorials accessible to people across southern Africa and eventually up into Africa. We are also in the process of planning the development of the Shap Shap Ubuntu Community Village which will be located in the KwaNyuswa Community.

We would like to expand our reach across KwaZulu-Natal and ultimately into other deserving communities in the broader South African landscape. By using digital platforms we aim to share our educational video tutorials with people across South Africa.

We are currently in the process of developing an online portal to make our tutorials and learning material easily accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Shap Shap is currently planning the development of its Ubuntu Community Village for the KwaNyuswa Community. The village will have a skills development unit providing courses on building, sewing and beading, farming, cooking and entrepreneurship.

The village will also have several dormitories for elderly live in beneficiaries. The Kindness Kitchen will focus on providing healthy cooking classes, as well as meals for the community. Those living at the centre will help with the running of the creches, kitchen, farm and skills development programs. Our goal is to grow our team so that we can run all of our programs concurrently on a full-time basis.
